About this Event
CCC End-to End Interoperability plugfests allow attendees to test their CCC Digital Key implementations against other member companies’ implementations, and to discover and to investigate any possible problems. Identified issues will improve or correct technical specifications, test suites and test tools. End-to-End Interoperability test tools used in such plugfests are either already authorized by CCC or are currently in development/validation. Successful testing against multiple independent member companies’ implementations is required to validate these test tools. Plugfests also greatly help participants to validate and to mature their own implementations and to troubleshoot any issues identified during these test sessions.
This CCC plugfest targets End-to-End Interoperability for WCC 1, WCC 2 and WCC 3, compliant with Digital Key Release 3, Version 1.1.x. CCC plugfests facilitate different kind of testing, as agreed between the testing partners.
- In instructed testing, members will have access to the latest version of the Digital Key End-to-End Interoperability test tool, and sniffer hardware including different antennas, as they execute E2E IOP test cases.
- In guided testing, members will help validating the newly developed E2E IOP test cases, focusing on (cross-device) friend-sharing and BLE/UWB scenarios.
- In free testing, members will have room to test any other Digital Key features as agreed between the testing partners. This includes features, currently in discussion in the Technical WG or the Use Case and Requirements WG.
Test sessions will happen in parallel. Attendees bringing a vehicle implementation will have an assigned meeting space, shared only with the testing partner(s) and CCC staff. Participants with prototype implementations are as welcome as participants with a vehicle or a vehicle test bench. Note that some requirements exist to successfully participate, e.g., cross-signing between vehicle and device OEM. Device vendors are encouraged to bring a second device implementation, allowing parallel testing with different vehicle platforms.
As several members have had questions, we are hosting a Shanghai Plugfest Q&A Session on Tuesday, June 13 at 3pm China Standard Time.
We are inviting you to submit your questions in advance to admin@carconnectivity.org and the CCC Certification Architect will address them during the meeting.
